The purpose of the Ohioans For Concealed Carry PAC is to raise funds for candidates who share the ideals, beliefs, and morals of the people OFCC represents.
All contributions to the Ohioans For Concealed Carry PAC are managed in a separate fund from all other OFCC activities. Contributions made directly to the Ohioans For Concealed Carry PAC are treated much differently due to campaign finance laws, will be reported to the Secretary of State's office, and become public record.
FUND RAISING:
The Ohioans For Concealed Carry PAC can not accept contributions from any corporation or on any corporate checks.
FREE MONEY:
Most people don't realize that Ohio's tax law allows every individual in the State of Ohio to contribute $50.00 (or $100.00 per married couple) to a single statewide candidate of their choice per year, and 100% of the contribution can be claimed on your State of Ohio tax forms for a complete refund of the amount you contributed. This isn't just a deduction from your earnings, its a complete refund of the money, or free money. Between now and the 2006 Gubernatorial race gun owners have two opportunities to contribute free funds to the candidate of their choice.
Statewide offices include the Attorney General, The Secretary of State, The Auditor, seats on the Ohio Supreme Court, and of course, the Governor's election.
If you wish to take advantage of Ohio's Political Contribution Tax Credit, but you'd like the Ohioans For Concealed Carry PAC to deliver that contribution to the statewide candidate of your choice, you may send completed checks to the Ohioans For Concealed Carry PAC with instructions. This method of contributing associates your contribution with our organization's cause, but the funds will go directly to the candidate of YOUR choice.
