Contrary to Ohio Governor Mike DeWine’s claim that his new gun control measures have been “crafted by Second Amendment supporters,”1 Ohioans for Concealed Carry has not helped design, and does not support, Gov. DeWine’s proposal.
Ohioans for Concealed Carry, formed in 1999, represents Ohio’s 775,000 concealed carry licensees. “OFCC is anxious to disassociate itself from Gov. DeWine’s remarks,” said Philip Mulivor, a spokesman for the group. “His comments might imply that OFCC, a well-known firearms rights organization, supports his proposal, which we do not.”
